Rethink Oakland.

Rethink Oakland is a civic initiative for residents who believe loyalty to the town should come before loyalty to ideology. We support an Oakland where working people, families, and local businesses can live and thrive without being sacrificed to political agendas or neglect.

This project exists to question the assumptions that have defined public life in the Bay Area for decades, and to examine policies by what they produce in reality — especially in the neighborhoods that feel the consequences first. We challenge the reflexive thinking that has protected decline and discouraged dissent.

Rethink Oakland exists to encourage those who already sense something is wrong to keep asking questions — and to imagine a different future for the town, one defined by competence, safety, and common sense rather than habit and inherited beliefs.
